Postal Service...or not!

Hi Neighbors, Our postal delivery has left a lot to be desired for quite some time. I've seen others on this list post concerns. Today we had an important document that was not delivered correctly, and this has happened MULTIPLE times. Fortunately we still received it, but I'm really sick of the USPS shenanigans. Does anyone know if there's any sort of system in place to complain? I seem to remember someone on here filing a comlaint about an issue awhile ago, but it sounded like it didn't go far. Am I just going to be wasting my time if I file a complaint? And if it's worth it, how do I go about filing a formal complaint? It needs to be more than just the local office because I know I'm not going to get anywhere with the clowns who staff the East Liberty office. Thanks, Jane -- Jane Anabe janekdaniels(a)gmail.com

How to Register To download a registration form, and for more information on registration, visit the Office of Elections Voter Registration page. Registration Eligibility To register to vote in Pennsylvania, a person must be: A citizen of the United States for at least one month before the next primary, special, municipal, or general election; A resident of Pennsylvania and the election district in which he or she is registering for at least 30 days before the next primary, special, municipal, or general election; and At least 18 years of age on or before the day of the next primary, special, municipal, or general election. Once a person has registered to vote, he or she is not required to register again unless either residence, name, or political party affiliation has changed. Identification Required for Registration Generally, identification is not needed to register to vote in Pennsylvania. However, the registration form requires an applicant's Pennsylvania driver’s license number, PennDOT Identification number or the last four digits of the applicant's social security number. At St. Andrew's, Highland Park-- A reminder that our St. Andrew's Schola Cantorum will be singing Choral Evensong for the Third Sunday in Lent at 4:30 p.m. this Sunday, February 21. The Introit will be the lovely Thomas Tallis piece, "Let God Arise," the Service will be Herbert Sumsion, in G Major, and the Anthem will be Ralph Vaughan Williams, "Lord, Thou hast been our refuge." Our Guest Preacher this Sunday afternoon will be the Rev. Dr. James Simons, Rector of the Episcopal Church of St. Michael of the Valley, Ligonier. Jim of course has had many leadership roles in our diocese and in the wider Church. He presently serves on the Standing Committee of our diocese and the Executive Council of the Episcopal Church--and he is a member of the Council of Advice of the President of the House of Deputies.
