This Saturday in Highland Park! The Annual *St. Francis Day Service and Blessing of Pets* will be Saturday, October 3, 2 p.m., this year (as we alternate locations) in the Churchyard at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 5801 Hampton Street, Highland Park. We are encouraged to bring canines (appropriately leashed), felines (appropriately crated), other (duly restrained) mammals, avians (caged), reptiles (REALLY caged!), and piscenes (bowled?). You get the idea. It's a fun afternoon, and a nice event that we've shared with "the other St. Andrew's" for a number of years. [Highland Park] Pick-Up/Nanny needed one late afternoon a week

Hi Everyone: Due to a fixed work schedule, we find ourselves unable to coordinate a pick-up for our three-year-old son from his daycare in RIDC park on Wednesdays. We are looking for someone who could pick him up before 6:00 PM at the daycare on Wednesdays and play with him briefly at our house on Bryant Street before one of us returns home at about 7:00 PM or so. This is probably a service we'd need once a week, every week for the foreseeable future. If anyone here is able to help out, please give me a call. [Highland Park] four beautiful kittens looking for homes

Hello, I'm fostering four precious kittens, about five weeks old, who are looking for homes. Their mother rejected them, and I have raised them from when they were very little, so I'm very attached. I would really like to find loving homes for them so they don't have to return to the shelter. There are three girls and one boy, and will be ready for adoption in about a month. They are very active and friendly. I've attached pictures. Please let me know if you are interested, and you can come meet them at my home on Callowhill St. As usual, this is an Animal Friends foster, and the adoption would have to go through them.
