In search of a roommate … I am looking for a third person to share my four-bedroom house in East Liberty/Highland Park. Located just three blocks for six major bus lines on a neighborhood street, the house has shared living space of a dining room, living room, kitchen, laundry, two bathrooms, small studio space, and huge backyard with garden and soon plenty of grass (it is growing right now). Available bedroom basically a full 3rd floor space with painted wood floors and amazing light. This room was actually one of the selling points of my house. This is a large and extremely flexible space. Flexible lease terms are available. I am simply looking for someone who is reliable, friendly, doesn't mind cats or dog (there are two calm cats, and a 10 month old mixed puppy), and relatively clean, to round out the house. Currently three of us live here, but one is getting married and moving into his new house a few blocks away. The other remaining housemate is an amazing musician (classically trained piano), and I (the owner) work for a local nonprofit. We both have somewhat flexible schedules and are around on the weekends and some evenings. It is a friendly but independent vibe around the house and everyone pitches in for general household tasks. Rent is $425-450 plus splitting utilities with other housemates. Cost dependent on additional storage space. Located on Hays Ave. between Euclid and North St. Clair. Direct bus lines to downtown, CMU, University of Pitt, Oakland, Bloomfield, Stanton Heights, Friendship, Garfield, Strip District, and East Liberty bus station (the bus way). Within a mile of Eastside retail/restaurant area, Highland Avenue business district, and Bryant Street business district. Street parking is available and does not require a permit. Ideally someone would move in the beginning of August.

We have six very nice oak doors, in good condition. Some are five panel, a couple of two panels, one with 12 lights for glass, some glass included. Most have knobs and hinges. Also, sheets of heavy glass, 1/8th inch 40"x36" Good for artists or greenhouse/cold frame builders. There are 20 of these and also some assorted sizes of glass shelving. Dear Neighbors We hope you can help us care for the trees that our neighborhood recently planted on N. Highland and Stanton Avenues. We need help weeding, mulching and cleaning trash out or the tree beds. WHEN: Saturday July 24 from 9 until about noon (you are welcome, even if you can't stay the entire time) WHERE: Meet at the corner of N Highland and Stanton Avenues RSVP: to this email if you can make it.
