Hi Neighbors, A few months ago I bough an unused electric fence unit/set from one of our neighbors here on the list serve. i never even took it out of the box. Turns out i can just yell at my dog enough to keep him on our side of the yard. :) So...point is...i bought it from our neighbor for $20. Anyone need and able to pay $20 to get an unused electric fence? Anyone? Anyone? Taryn

Hey neighbors, Does anyone happen to have a guitar tuner up for grabs/sale? i just started taking lessons and i swear i spend about an hour tuning the dang thing every time. ugh! also, any old guitars or other type of guitar stuff that you arent' using anymore...let me know. thanks!! taryn

Hi all, Have you installed a "Sunsetter" awning system on your home? What's been your experience? We're heard/read mixed reports on them. For example, they can't be "open" -- in full position -- during rain storms, they don't hold up to the wind in our area, etc. Also, did you install it yourself? If so, how difficult was it? Market update for Saturday July 10th Local Produce I was really impressed with the variety and quality of local produce that was available last week. I spoke with the famers today and learned that even more great locally grown items will be available. We had a great crowd that seemed to scoop up most of what was available. So please stop by this Saturday. Here is a sampling of items that will be available..... Tomatoes (several varieties) Lettuce Cooking greens (chard, collards, kale) Cucumbers Zucchini & other squash Beets Micro greens Green beans Corn Berries Peaches Onions Brocoli Cauliflower There may be a few surprises as well. ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************ Olive Oil We will have 5 oils to offer this week. All are Extra Virgin. Stonehouse- House Blend Rancho Arroyo Grande- Leccino Rancho Arroyo Grande- Frantoio Olinda Ridge Farm- Mission\Manzanillo Blend (Organic) Corto Farm- Arbequina\Arbosana Blend We dispense the oil out of bulk containers into reusable bottles. All of the oils can be tasted before you buy them. We have 500ml and 250ml bottles for sale, but feel free to bring your own- we will fill any clean glass bottle. Since we are selling the oil by weight, you will not "overpay" when you buy small quantities. In fact I encourage people to buy small quantities so you are always using fresh oil. Dear Neighbors We hope you can help us care for the trees that our neighborhood recently planted on N. Highland and Stanton Avenues. We need help weeding, mulching and cleaning trash out or the tree beds. WHEN: Saturday July 24 from 9 until about noon WHERE: Meet at the corner of N Highland and Stanton Avenues RSVP: to this email if you can make it. Let me know if you are a Tree Tender when you RSVP. For Sale: These items are from a smoke free house but I do have small dogs who do not sit on the furniture without a slip cover and/or cover on them, and the previous owner had cats. Please email if you have any questions. I have to replace the loveseat since my husband feels it is just too big for my living room so I am selling the whole set which includes a couch/sofa, loveseat and chair for $350 or $300 if purchasing and they are picked up between Wednesday, July 14 and Saturday, July 17, 2010. * Sofa/couch with curved front, approximately 88" x 38" (LxW); in good condition with wear described below. * Loveseat with curved front, approximately 65" x 38" (LxW); in good condition with wear described below. * Chair, approximately 44" x 38" (LxW); in fair/good condition. These have a great style with really nice fabric that is a beautiful golden/beige background with maroon, green and darker blue floral design and both the couch/sofa and the loveseat have a curved front design. The sofa/couch and loveseat are in good condition but do have wear since the previous owner had cats and there are some snags and damage to the fabric, mostly on the side near the bottom, so it is not too noticeable; the chair has a little bit more wear from the cats. All the furniture is located in Avalon 15202 and can be picked up almost anytime, though hopefully within the next week since there is not enough room right now in our house for all of it. For Sale: Exercise Equipment: (Please email or call if you have any questions) * NordicFlex UltraLift; $250 (retailed new for $1200) * Health Rider with Plastic Riser (older, heavy duty version); $35 * XL Glider (like Tony Little's Gazelle but a less expensive version); $40 These items have been stored in a garage and do have some rust now because the garage leaked due to the heavy winter snow. Otherwise they are in good working condition.
