I have 4 of tgg hg see wooden boxes I built years ago that look in great shape. I don’t have a tape measure with me but they are a little under waist high and probably 30” wide or so by 10 or 12” deep. I made them to set up as displays at art shows. They are heavy. If they are of use to me let me know, I’ll send you the address. I’ll accept whatever you feel is a fair price for them.

Seeking part-time nanny for 14 month old

Hi neighbors, So -- we are on the search yet again for a nanny our 14 month old son! A nanny we recently hired has decided to pursue elder care instead, so we are looking for a part time nanny to start March 2 and to work Tuesdays and Thursdays ideally (but up for discussion). Hours are 7:30am - 5:30pm. We have had another nanny since our son was 3 months old who works the other days. We need someone who can commit at least through August, potentially longer. Dear HP'ers: Once again for us, no Thursday or Friday newspaper. My husband continues to telephone and a couple of times they have dropped off a paper later in the day. He usually speaks to some nice person who apologizes and gives various responses. They seem to admit that they know there is a problem in our neighborhood. The latest is that yes, they are short handed and have been advertising on social media for drivers. Presumably when they stopped publishing several days, they must have been paying less and so they cannot attract drivers. Here is an idea: If anyone out there knows of someone who would like a job, albeit one that requires driving in the night, please have them call the PG. We hope at some point, they get back on track with better results.

Last night at the Highland Park Community Council meeting, Casa Brasil brought some food for the meeting. Tim spoke about the restaurant, and how it got started. They are currently looking to get a liquor license for the business, and are looking for folks who want to invest in order for them to do this. This sounded like an interesting idea, where they are working with Honeycomb Credit, and you invest in the business and then earn interest as the restaurant pays back. There is more information that you can get from their web site, www.casa-brasil.com. I am not saying it is a great investment, as I have no knowledge about that, but just that it sounded interesting. And if you are interested in helping them to stay in Highland Park to create a better dining experience, that it might be something to check into. If you have not stopped in to eat there, you should try that. They are at 5904 Bryant Street. Short-haul mover recommendations for Monday, hopefully!

Looking for a short-haul moving company to load a truck (in Squirrel Hill) and unload it (at Guardian in Coraopolis). I have the truck. Monday Feb 24 is the current plan. Anyone have suggestions? Load is mostly a bunch of plastic bins/crates, a medium sized metal cabinet (drawers removed), one or two futons, disassembled furniture including a futon platform, an electric recliner, and a small table.
