Last night at the Highland Park Community Council meeting, Casa Brasil brought some food for the meeting.  Tim spoke about the restaurant, and how it got started.   They are currently looking to get a liquor license for the business, and are looking for folks who want to invest in order for them to do this. This sounded like an interesting idea, where they are working with Honeycomb Credit, and you invest in the business and then earn interest as the restaurant pays back.   There is more information that you can get from their web site, www.casa-brasil.com.  I am not saying it is a great investment, as I have no knowledge about that, but just that it sounded interesting.   And if you are interested in helping them to stay in Highland Park to create a better dining experience, that it might be something to check into.
