The bakery “Food Glorious Food” at 5906 Bryant st in Highland Park, will be open Sunday from 10am-2pm or later. Stop by for iced/hot coffee, fresh chocolate chip cookies, assorted pastries, cakes, pies, etc as well as a few savory options like strata, mac and cheese, or marinated ham and cheese sliders. I recently started working at downtown Arthur Murray ballroom dance studio as an instructor in training. We offer complimentary lessons and I could use the practice teaching! It's a social dance style that's taught in such a way you can use it on any dance floor any where in the world, it reverses signs of aging and is a lot of fun, best workout I've ever experienced. We are selling a California King headboard and bed frame. They have never been used. They fit together but are mismatched- the headboard is grey and the bed frame is beige. If you put a comforter on the bed though I don’t think it would be noticeable. Make an offer if you are interested!

Highland Park: Young Couple in Need of Temp Housing

Dear Highland Park, My wife and I have been in Pittsburgh just over a year now. We moved here from Colorado last July to settle down and start a family. My wife is a teacher and I am currently working towards my MBA at the University of Pittsburgh. We are expecting our first child in November, and due to unforeseen circumstances, are looking for a space to rent for the next 3-6 months. We had planned to move into a different space, but it is still unfinished, and we are feeling the pinch with our little one on the way. Our need is simple: we need a quiet, 2-bed space during the beginning of our maternity leave, until our initial plan is ready for move-in. We are firm on a 6 mo. end date, are able to pay rent, will be clean, quiet (as possible with a newborn), respectful, and will offer maintenance, house-sitting, baby-sitting, and tutoring (both of us being teachers) as needed. Please let us know if you, or someone you know, feels called to help our young family as we would be so grateful.
