Dear Highland Park, My wife and I have been in Pittsburgh just over a year now. We moved here from Colorado last July to settle down and start a family. My wife is a teacher and I am currently working towards my MBA at the University of Pittsburgh. We are expecting our first child in November, and due to unforeseen circumstances, are looking for a space to rent for the next 3-6 months. We had planned to move into a different space, but it is still unfinished, and we are feeling the pinch with our little one on the way. Our need is simple: we need a quiet, 2-bed space during the beginning of our maternity leave, until our initial plan is ready for move-in. We are firm on a 6 mo. end date, are able to pay rent, will be clean, quiet (as possible with a newborn), respectful, and will offer maintenance, house-sitting, baby-sitting, and tutoring (both of us being teachers) as needed.
