Looking for a sound person

Friends in Harmony is booked for a performance at Light Up Point Breeze at 4:00 pm Saturday December 3, 2016. We are in need of a sound person with equipment. Point Breeze Organization does not have a sound system. We’d like someone specifically for that performance, but in general would be even better. See below. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our volunteer vocal group would love to find a sound person with her/his own equipment to help us at outdoor events where the three of us don’t carry well in an open setting. We would prefer a volunteer, but perhaps a SMALL stipend could be arranged. We generally are not paid at these events, but if we are, we would share some of that with you. This is for someone who wants to be involved in a musical group for fun and camaraderie rather than primarily for money. Hope someone is out there that would fill the bill. Update So when I called 311 I found I out that the water problem is the responsibility of the water authority. however,incident 109506 was entered a few days and if you call 311 you can reference that number for any new information but as of now there is no new information. October HPCC Monthly Meeting October 20th - Back To School

The October HPCC meeting is Thursday Oct 20th at St. Andrew's Church, Thursday, May 19th at 7:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend. We will be celebrating back to school with 2 feature speakers - Laura Dadey (Sunnyside Prinicpal) and Rounida Shwaish (Community Organizer at Lawrenceville United). Sunnyside K-8 serves students living west of Negley, and Mrs. Dadey will give an update on the school. Ms. Shwaish runs LU's Pep Rally program and will talk about her efforts at Arsenal and Woolslair. -- Dave Atkinson
