Please join us at Dilworth PreK-5 on Wednesday, October 22nd at 6:00 for our Magnet Open House Tour. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit our building, meet Dr. Lamar (our principal) and many of our staff, and see the classrooms where our students learn. Dilworth is an Arts and Humanities Magnets with a full time art teacher and two full time music teachers. We also are home to an in-house Gifted and Talented program, a Grow Pittsburgh Garden, Before and After Care, and a multitude of afterschool activities, including, but not limited to basketball, hockey, swimming, African Drumming, Hip Hop Dance, fishing, Girls on the Run, Strong Women/Strong Girls, and Girl Scouts. We also host a variety of Family Nights throughout the year such as Sports Night, Reading and Math Night, Arts Night, Garden Night, Night with the Star, and Celebration of Learning. We hope to see you at Dilworth on Wednesday, October 22nd at 6pm, but if you cannot make it, please call the school to set up a time to come in for one of our morning parent tours.
