Ready to Zumba?! My friend Kara will begin classes at Metamorphosis Salon in Lawrenceville 5112 Butler Street on Monday's at 6pm. She is a great instructor and brings such energy to the class. Get that heart rate up! Work those muscles! Shake those hips! Work off that Halloween candy you've been sneaking! Beginner? Don't be shy - I've only done it a few times and I can catch on, you can, too! Classes are $10 per session. There is an opportunity to buy packages at the door if you'd like to go more frequently. Advice w/ wet garage floor (cement)

A corner of our garage floor, cement, is wet each time it rains or heavily snows. We've had a roofer and brick pointer out and neither found a problem. Any suggestions for where to look or for service providers? many thanks!

Halloween Vandals

When we moved to Highland Park 8 years ago and decorated extensively for our first Halloween here, our yard was torn up by vandals. I then brushed concentrated habanero pepper oil on all of our decorations and put the yard back together. We were vandalized once after that and never again. I know we take a chance of being vandalized by decorating for any holiday. But I rest easy knowing that if some punk/punks decide to ruin our hard work, they will have to suffer the consequences of their bad decisions. Happy Halloween! Olga Watkins

I have three tickets to sell for the Sunday, November 2, 2pm performance of "The Glass Menagerie" at the Public Theatre. These are great center row seats and were purchased as part of a Girl Scout event we are not able to attend. My troop has purchased a block of tickets for center rows E, F, and G. The tickets sell for $55 individually, so this is a significant discount. I will make sure that your seats are together. Please email me if you are interested.
