Well, neighbors, perhaps it was inevitable. Certainly the law of averages was working against me - after nearly 10 years of living in the 'hood, I find myself posting on the list that my car was ransacked on Saturday night. 900 block of Farragut, while the car was in my driveway, sometime between about 11pm and 3am - while I was zoned out on cold meds (and because of them, forgot to arm the alarm on the car). Yes, they got some stuff; yes, I filed a police report. Ugh. And to think - I'm absolutely religious about locking my car. The one time..... No room for slippage, folks - or the haze brought on my cold meds, either. Helen

Hi Neighbors, I'm looking for someone who can take me from Farragut Street in Highland Park to "Sunrise at Fox Chapel" which is located out Route 910. It's about a 15-20 drive. I need to be taken out in the morning around 10:00 or 10:30 and picked-up from there around 5:00 p.m. I may only need this service for Monday and Tuesday or I may need it for several more days depending upon what happens with my mother. Found on Callowhill St....... a change tray with a dark blue front and a LiftMaster garage remote. Looks like it was tossed. It was in the melting snow so who knows how long it's been there. If it's your's drop me a line....katield1(a)verizon.net. Kate .....seemed like a good idea at the time!
