Just wanted to spread the word...after searching for a place for my two young boys and not finding anything I LOVED, I decided to hire a great pre-school teacher and start my own small home daycare in Aspinwall. We are state certified and working on our Keystone Stars. We are 3 blocks from St. Margaret’s Hospital, we take credit cards and drop-ins, and because we are just getting started, we have no registration fee at this time. Hi! My daughter Savanah took the American Red Cross Babysitter Certification class on Saturday, and is eager to put her new knowledge to work! The class included developmental information, as well as basic first aid skills, in addition to hands-on lessons (like diapering). Savanah is 12, the oldest of 4, and a homeschooled 6th grader. She is available at a wide variety of times! At the moment (until she has had enough practice), she is looking for 1-3 hour gigs in a home with the parent present. Well, we're really tired of them!!! We have at least 1-2/day and they appear out of nowhere. Is this a problems with others? I really am a good housekeeper and don't have a problem with any other pests. Does anyone have ideas about an exterminator or a way to get rid of them?? Thanks. Linda Jackson St

Hi Neighbors, I'm working on a documentary project about local fish frys and was looking for suggestions. I know the Diocese of Pittsburgh always puts out a list of local parish frys, but I'm looking for personal recommendations- where's the best food? the best atmosphere? the longest running? the most neighborhood-y? do you know folks who work there? have they been doing it forever? [Highland Park] *Update on Request for Driver*

Thanks to all of you who replied to my request. I was able to bring my mother to the Forbes Inpatient Hospice at West Penn Hospital today so I will no longer need a driver to "Sunrise at Fox Chapel". My mother is 95 and getting ready for her final journey in life. It was important to me to get her to a place where I knew she would be treated compassionately and also one that I would be able to get to easily. I do so appreciate all of the emails and calls. It's nice to know there are neighbors out there to help you. Thanks again everyone! Suzanne
