I'm in the process of writing a lease to rent the additional apartments in my house. I'm wondering if anyone else is in this situation where the gas and electricity are on one bill and split evenly among the tenants. If so, would you be willing to share with me a copy of your lease agreement? Also, do you charge an additional fee/percentage if the tenants would opt to add an air conditioner in their apartment? This is my first time with tenants, so I'm trying to avoid trouble by working these details out in the lease. Thanks in advance, Rachel McCurdy

Please join me for a 2-hour walk in Highland Park on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 starting at 6:30 pm at the fountain (Highland Avenue entrance to the park). Keep an eye on the weather report: it calls for partly cloudy skies but the temperature will be high. Consider bringing along a canteen of bottled water to help you stay hydrated. Please note that information published in the Parks Conservancy newsletter is wrong: the walks in Highland Park are on the *3rd* Wednesdays throughout the summer this year. The dates are correct on their web site: <http://www.pittsburghparks.org/> This walk is just one in a series of the weekly "Walks in the Woods" in the four major Pittsburgh parks sponsored by the PPC. We saw a little orange tabby cat up by the fenced in place at the reservoir--looks to be about 5 or 6 months old. It seems too friendly to be feral. Did you lose a cat? Or are you willing to give this one a home?
