Hello Neighbors, Some kids broke the glass windows on my garage, which faces the alley between Wellesley and Avondale, near Negley. This was Friday night at around 6 pm. Does anyone out there know of a good handyman who can replace glass windows? Kimberly Latta Wellseley Ave

Another close and easy place to take unwanted paper for recycling is the courtyard behind St.Raphael School. There are two containers where you can drop all kinds of paper, mail, cardboard boxes etc. Only telephone books are not accepted. The School receives $ 5 per each ton collected and is very grateful to those who would like to help. --------------------------------- Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. [Highland Park] Leftover Hay from the Spring Party

I forgot to send this out when it was still daylight, but there is hay left over fromt he egg hunt at the Farmhouse. There are 2 piles. One is between the Farmhouse and the driveway. The other pile is next to the swings. If anyone is interested in picking it up, it is there for the taking.

Hi everyone, I've been recycling since I moved into the city, but I'm not sure which plastics can go in the bin. Where I used to live we could only recycle plastics with a 1 or 2 on the bottom, but I've had a lot of containers lately with 5's and 6's on them. When we got home tonight, there was green spray string all over our front door. Harmless enough, but still made me uncomfortable that someone up to no good came up on our porch. We're near Jackson and Heberton.

[Highland Park] found dog

A neighbor, who lives on Jackson St, second house on the right, after Heberton, towards the park, found a small black and white dog in tonights storm. She knows the owner to see, but does not know where she lives!!. In all the excitement, we did not exchange phone #'s. If you cant find her, you can call me at 412-606-7974 if you know the owner.
