It's a green boys bike with two stickers on it and appears to be a very nice bike. In a message dated 10/6/2008 7:19:06 A.M. [Highland Park] "runners for obama" t-shirts at the great race

i hope this is ok to post here. i figured there were probably a fair number of people from the neighborhood who ran the great race, and maybe someone here knows how i can get my hands on a long sleeved, navy blue tech shirt with "runners for obama" emblazoned on it, like one of the ones i saw during the great race. i only saw a couple of them, but they caught my eye every time. a web search hasn't been able to turn up anything that matches what i saw. anyone able to help a runner out? genevieve

Thanks to all of you who have dropped off packaged snacks, microwave popcorn and water for the volunteers. We have a continuing need for these things and will especially need a lot during the last week of the campaign when we make our final big push of canvassing and phone banking. Please consider dropping off any of these at the headquarters at 125 Highland Avenue, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday thru Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays. If it's inconvenient for you to drop it off, send me an email and I'll pick it up from you. I'm back to let you know of the Obama campaign headquarter's wish list this week. We need gift cards to PaperMart, Giant Eagle and Trader Joe's. Also, if you have a paper shredder you don't want, we would love to have it. Again, I'd be glad to pick it up. Thanks so much. I was walking my dog earlier this afternoon (Saturday) on the 6600 block of Jackson Street. I found a Chanel leather wallet and an Express canvas change purse with a key chain clip. Both the wallet and the change purse were without any cards, IDs, money, etc. If these items belong to you, please contact me via this email address and I will get them to you. i live on n. highland. last night around 8:30 pm i heard a crash/thud sound out front. i turned on the porch light. when i got outside, my flower urn, which was sort of large, was tipped over and broken. i called police. they came out and made a report. there seems to be 3 kids, black, about 14 or 15 years old. two boys and one girl. there is a very strong possibility it was them. the officer said that even though this isnt a major incident, each small incident can eventually snowball into larger, more serious incidents, and the police should be notified of ANY incidents so they can keep track. ---------------------------------------- > To: neighborhood(a)highlandparkpa.com > From: jai(a)vision-and-values.com > Date: Thu, 2 Oct 2008 20:53:44 -0400 > Subject: [Highland Park] vandalism on Wayne Road & Jackson St. > > We went out for a walk around 8 p.m. this evening (Thursday). [Highland Park] B&B recommendations?

I have relatives coming to town around Christmastime who are tired of the hotels they usually stay at, and are wondering what local B&Bs might be a nice change of pace. They specifically asked if I knew anything about the Inn at Negley, so any recommendations about that would be lovely. But other suggestions would be very welcome too. Any thoughts? They usually stay at a hotel downtown, so a bit of a drive is no problem. Stacey
