Hello, Does anyone have a wallpaper steamer that they'd let me borrow, rent, or buy? I have a room with multiple stubborn layers of wallpaper (and paint), and the little craft steamer I tried worked but isn't up to the full task. thanks, Rachel

He came out to check our dishwasher & told us it was recalled that we shouldn't repair it. Had him install replacement. Footnote on Bob Shipko- He charged us $123 for about three hours work including a new part and made two calls on two different days. A very reasonable price, I think. Very knowledgeable-let my husband help which thrilled him; Liz

[Highland Park] Cats

Hi Highland Parkers, I was driving home when I saw a white tomcat with black cow spots just outside the construction site on Penn Avenue. I pulled over and rolled down the window and he promptly jumped into my car and wanted pets. Obviously he is very friendly and now I have him in my house. He seems young, not neutered and is a total sweetheart. It seems like he has been roughed around a little bit and has been away from attentive owners for a while. I would keep him, neuter him and give him shots, but my other two cats are going nuts and attacking each other in the household due to his scent. A couple of questions 1. Does he belong to anyone in the community? 2. Would somebody be willing to drop him off at the animal rescue league? I work from 5:30 am to 6 pm and don't know how much longer he can stay in my house. I would love for him to find a nice home since he is quite loving. This Sunday, June 7th during the Highland Park Yard SaleElla Watkins and a few of her first grade friends from Dilworth Academy will have a lemonade & cookie stand fund raiser set up in front of 6362 Jackson Street from 10am to 130pm (or while supplies last) All proceeds will be donated to the Fallen Heroes Fund specifically for the children of the officers who were killed in the line of duty in Stanton Heights.
