Hello again - Well i just moved. Life is busy and i am still getting situated... I have not followed up with anyone but my plan is to get bids and meet those that are willing to work with me, answer my questions and provide evidence they know what i am talking about to meet my interior needs. [Highland Park] Highland Park festival

Is it or was it a "highland park " festival or a "bryant street" festival? Once again we the so called "Mellon Street Partners" were ignored. As a long standing business owner or operator of a successful location in Highland Park serving our community for the past 19 years we feel shunned that we were not asked to participate in the festival. It is understood that "the Plan" prefers business' locations on Bryant street but some of the longer standing and operating businesses are in fact located other than on Bryant for good cause. As Highland Park residents and business owners we would expect the same common courtesy and respect we try day after day to promote and extend to our customers and community. Before having to go out of the neighborhood for festival food we could in fact contact all Highland park Businesses for support and input if this a true Highland Park function. If for any reason there is not the intention to support a highland park region in it's entirety then we the so called neighbors should be adviced and not infer that we were asked and choose not to participate in a Highland Park Function. When asked we always supported issues in Highland park. We demand of our customers the respect and courtesy when in our neighborhood to respect our neighbors and have promoted safety and security on our street by keeping our eyes open at all times, report to authorities anything unusual and have confronted ill doers on our street and those nearby. Our response to request for input is only intended to bring awareness that we exist and in fact are here to support and operate as neighbors in our community, but can only do so with mutual interest and communication.
