I need a babysitter for an hour on Wednesday afternoons, to hang out with my 8yo, 4yo, and 20 month old for an hour. Probably from 345-445 should do it. To kick off a major historical celebration planned for 2010, the Historical Society will hold an exciting public event this Fall which will feature old photos, postcards, artifacts, and other memorabilia presented by local residents. If you have anything you might possibly be willing to share, please get in touch with me so we can determine how it might fit. All items will of course be returned after the program. Since the publication of our book Pittsburgh's East Liberty Valley, numerous people have told us that they have additional historical information or materials to share. [Highland Park] awful thing by our house this morning

When I went out to get our car this morning, there was an awful thing near our gate. It was a long stick wrapped around with beads and a cord and to the ends were tied animal head/bodies skins. They were from animals that had been alive at one time. We love animals. It was an awful thing to find. What is going on in this neighborhood. jai
