To kick off a major historical celebration planned for 2010, the Historical Society will hold an exciting public event this Fall which will feature old photos, postcards, artifacts, and other memorabilia presented by local residents. If you have anything you might possibly be willing to share, please get in touch with me so we can determine how it might fit. All items will of course be returned after the program. Since the publication of our book Pittsburgh's East Liberty Valley, numerous people have told us that they have additional historical information or materials to share. This is an opportunity to help our community by preserving our wonderful heritage.
