I have seen many people post toddler beds on here. I am looking for someone who may be willing to give one away. When I moved here for graduate school we figured our daughter's could share a bed for a while but I think this plan has outlived it's convenience in for space. If anyone has a small toddler bed or knows someone who does, who wants to get rid of it please let me know. Many thanks for all of you who replied - a number of the resources we had already tried, but there were a few new leads. For those of you who might have these questions in the future - the Housing Authority has some info and assigns a caseworker, but the best results come to folks who are able to do some of their own sleuthing. Of course, access to websites depends on internet access as well, which might be difficult for some folks. The websites that are out there are very rudimentary and not comprehensive, so that presents its own issues. Happy holidays, everyone - Helen

Hi Neighbors, We have a spare sofa to pass along to someone else. It's the Klippan from Ikea: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S39871653. It's called a two-seat sofa, but it's actually bigger than that. It retails for $229.00. Ikea offers several slip covers for it, ranging from $19 - 49. Ours has an off-white slip cover, but our cat has scratched it up a bit and it probably needs to be replaced. If you are interested please email and we can arrange for you to see it/pick it up.
