Recommending John McPeak to help with house stuff. John is a resident of Highland Park, and recently powerwashed my deck (transformed it from a solid brown back to wood grained), painted the garage facade and other projects. Grounded, pleasant, drama free (I have to say that because my last contractor disappeared, leaving jobs & tools behind; found out months later he was in jail. Drama free is wonderful!). TAP DANCING AT THE HIGHLAND PARK FOUNTAIN FOR ALL AGES! When: Saturdays 3:00-4:00pm Dates: June 4th - June 25th Price: $5 What to bring: Tap shoes preferred or hard soled shoes. Please bring a tap board (aka any piece of wood) 30" x 40". Zuri Hodge's bio: Zuri Hodge is currently pursuing a dance major with the choreography track and a communication major with a specialization in advocacy media Seton Hill University. She is also the captain of the Griffin Dance Team. She has been studying dance since the young age of two and began tap at four. Since then she has choreographed multiple tap pieces within her college experience. To maintain her training, she attends tap festivals where she gets to train with some of the world's top tap dancers such as Jason Samuels Smith, Chloe and Maud Arnold of the Syncopated Ladies, Michelle Dorrance, Sarah Reich, Derrick Grant, and many others. She has performed regionally in Children of Eden, The Wizard of Oz, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Hairspray, and Tarzan.
