As part of the Love Your Home Event, we are having special breakout sessions where you can learn more about specific topics. The Design Center will be speaking about "Who to Use", one of the most popular topics requested in our homeowner survey. They will also be setting up private 15 minute appointments so you can meet with an actual architect, landscape architect, or interior designer! Find out more about their breakout session and how to make an appointment below. Breakout Session Panel Highlight: Who to Use & Where to Start Considering a home remodeling or renovation project and don't know where to start or which professional to choose? The Design Center, a non-profit organization committed to connecting community members with architects, landscape architects, and interior designers for affordable design consultations, will share their expertise on how to best approach projects and choose the contractor that is right for your project. Sign-up NOW for a FREE, 15-minute design consultations during the Love Your Home Event. In addition to a breakout session, the Design Center will provide on-site consultations to residents to discuss property improvement ideas and renovation options. During these FREE, 15-minute mini-consults, designers will provide advice and ideas to homeowners. This kick off show will be UNJURIED giving all members an opportunity to submit and exhibit new work. Hello Highland Parkers, With Spring knocking at our doors and midterms just up ahead, now is a great time to keep up on those tough subjects and finish the school year strong. I have been teaching professionally for the last 5 years and have been tutoring and volunteering with students Kindergarten through College for over 10. I graduated from Ohio State with a BA in Spanish and English and am certified to teach Silver-level Ballroom, Latin and Swing dances as well. Through classroom experience I've found that I love to teach but I prefer working one-on-one with students rather than in a crowded classroom. I live in Highland Park and currently use the East Liberty and Squirrel Hill libraries to meet my students. My rates are flexible for lower income families and I am available most days. We do everything from SAT/GED prep to Spanish, English, Math and Sciences.
