old crockpot for building project?

Hi all, I'm trying to strip paint off some old coat hooks, and I'm told you can do this by "cooking" them overnight in soapy water in an old crockpot. Does anyone have an old crockpot that can still do a medium setting that they'd be willing to part with for cheap? Thanks! Nate

Vintage Senior Center to Hosts "The Wizard of Oz" Sing Along on January 19

PITTSBURGH, PA: Open Your Heart to a Senior, in partnership with Vintage Senior Center, will host a sing-a-long showing of The Wizard of Oz on Tuesday, January 19th 2015 at 12:30pm at Vintage Senior Center, 401 N. Highland Ave. Families, seniors and people of all ages are welcome to enjoy this classic movie with sing-a-long prompts and silly props. This event coincides with National Popcorn Day, and free popcorn will be served! This event is FREE, but attendees are encouraged to RSVP to guarantee a seat. RSVP's are accepted via phone at 412-661 -1670 ext 619. The Wizard of Oz, released in theaters in 1939, tells the story of a young woman on a journey to self-knowledge with the help of several friends she makes along the way. This timeless movie reminds us that we are all we need to make a difference in the world. Open Your Heart to a Senior is a United Way-funded volunteer initiative that helps vulnerable seniors remain safe in their homes.

Moving out porch alert! Bookshelves, tables, patio furniture, high quality appliances (microwave, toaster oven, tv, printers, scanners, etc.), bedding (so much bedding), stuffed animals, and whatnots available at 8 Mellon Terrace. In addition to this, if you stop by between 2:30PM and 4:30PM, you can come and haul away a washer, dryer, couch, more bookshelves!, as well as an ikea queen sized bed frame and mattress (no slats unforunately-- and bring your own Allen Wrench!). Everything must go today! All items in working/good condition! You can't beat FREE! First come, first served! Free refrigerator - good condition

Hello, We recently replaced our appliances and someone was to take our old refrigerator over a week ago so it unfortunately has just been sitting on our front porch. I've given up on that person so it is free for the taking. It is in good condition except the waterline needs repaired. We bought it at Sears scratch and dent about 9 years ago so there is a dent in the one side and a couple of scratches on the front but it has always worked well for us. It's on the smaller side. Measurements are 33"wide, 30" deep and 67" tall. Please let me know if your interested. I would like it off my porch ASAP. Thanks! Susan Sent from my iPhone
