Brownie Troop looking for feedback about Christmas tree collection service

Neighbors, I am a leader for a local 2nd grade Brownie troop. We are considering a fundraiser for the neighborhood this January where we would, for a small fee, pick up Christmas trees and deliver them to the city's yard debris collection facility. You may not realize that the city does NOT compost the Christmas trees that are put out curbside. In order for your tree to be composted, it must be delivered to a lawn debris collection facility. Please take one minute and answer our very brief 3 question survey (on two pages) to help us gauge interest in the service: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/52Z5HB2 The funds would be used to help our troop purchase supplies for camping as our troop gains camping experience, to cover other activities for the girls, and for our community give-back projects. Last year we bought nearly 200 books for Jeremiah's place with some of our cookie sales funds, to allow them to send each child who uses their service home with a book. I hope everyone had a safe and Happy Thanksgiving. Attached you will find the Community Crime Update for the week of November 23rd-29th. Additionally, we would like to remind everyone of the "Police-Youth Fun Night" at Westinghouse High School this Thursday, December 3rd at 7:00pm. Our officers will be having dinner with the kids earlier in the evening, then the doors will open to the public at 7:00 for a police vs. kids basketball game! The students from Westinghouse were eager to plan an event with Zone 5, and we would love to show them that the community supports a strong relationship between the police and the youth. We hope to see you there! In related news, the Westinghouse students also asked our officers to help them meet their goal in collecting shoes to donate to children in 3rd world countries. Over the past few weeks, bags of shoes from officers and their families have been steadily piling up in the hallway of the police station.
