Several area organizations are joining forces to launch Circles East Liberty, a nationally-recognized, evidenced-based model to help families move out of poverty. Circles is a relationally-driven program that connects families experiencing poverty (Circles Leaders) with community members (Circles Allies) who want to be in a supportive, intentional, diverse relationships. Circle Allies support Circle Leaders as they work to become more financially stable and achieve other self-identified goals. To kick-off Circles East Liberty, we are hosting a *Poverty Simulation on Thursday, September 18th* - it's a unique and powerful tool that deepens understanding of poverty. Facilitated by Just Harvest, participants role play a member of a low-income household and discover the difficulty and stressors of trying to meet a family's basic needs when expenses are more than income. If you have a kid who is interested in the 39 Clues books and the clue cards that you had to buy in packs to solve the mystery, I have a giant pile of those cards to give away if anyone wants them. Hello neighbors.I listed these items before...but now with Fall approaching we have greatly reduced the asking price. This is a Stickley Broadway leather sofa and chair set. The leather is a Honey Savannah and the legs are Cherry Wood. The Chair dimensions are W: 36", D:36", H:35". The Sofa: 85.0ʺW × 36.0ʺD × 35.0ʺH. There is wear on the seat cushions of the sofa. Must be able to come and pick it up yourself.English Victorian Drop Well Vanity with Marble Tops Tall, mirrored dresser with elaborately scrolled back and cornice, ending in arched pediment above mirror. Top has well-like area between four small drawers and above one large drawer. I believe it is constructed from walnut, this piece is ornately carved. There are two marble slabs that sit on the top of the small drawers and overlap approximately 1/2 an inch on each side over the drawer. The third slab of marble sits on top of the well fits snugly.These slabs I believe are carrera marble. The mirror is beveled and is in good condition, some age spots. There are some age separation cracks in the back of the mirror. We have placed a temporary metal brace on it. There is one loose foot and one wing of the cornice that have come off (put can be perfectly glued back). One of the finials also needs to be repaired. We have all of these pieces. Asking for $100. Pirates/Cubs Tickets for Sale
