King mattress/box spring for trade

Hello neighbors, We have an extra king size mattress and box spring set that we are looking to part with. This may be a long shot, but would anyone be interested in trading us a queen or full size mattress/box spring for it? We need another bed for the room our housemate uses, but a king size is a little too big. It is a sealy mattress used for about 9 years, but still has some life left in it and is in good, clean shape. Smoke free, pet free home. Thanks! Would prefer a queen, but full would also work! (http://eastliberty.org) (ELDI), are getting much needed technology updates, thanks to a combination of grants and community partnerships. Green Light Wireless (http://home.greenwifi.com) is excited to join East Liberty Development Inc., East Liberty Housing, Inc., and Google in sponsoring this exciting project, right here in our backyard! According to ELDI, this community is one of the most disconnected in the city. Before beginning the project, very few of the residents had access to the Internet, much less a computer. The new technology will help the residents learn to use computers and provide Internet access in their homes, many of them for the first time. For this community, access to technology can make a huge difference in successfully finding employment and resources, as well as being incredibly important for the young students living in East Liberty Gardens. The centerpiece of the project revolves around the East Liberty Gardens Family Center, where ELDI and other community partners host children’s programming, financial planning, parenting, and computer skills classes. Green Light Wireless helped to build a computer lab in the family center that is now open for residents to use for job research, creating resumes, homework help, and general Internet browsing. We designed the network infrastructure to provide high-speed Wi-Fi service throughout the building, as well as connecting seven desktop computers in the lab. In the next phase of the project, ELDI wants to provide tablet computers that can be used in the upper floor meeting and play rooms and will add a printer to the network. On a recent visit, we checked out some more new computers that we'll be adding to the network soon, while a handful of families from the neighborhood were using the existing computers to play educational games. We’ll continue to provide remote and on-site IT and network service for the Family Center as needed. So far, the Family Center has been a success! It's gotten a lot of use this summer from the kids that live in the neighborhood, and evening hours are reserved for adult residents to use the computers to access online job postings and apply for jobs online. Later this year, the residents will be able to take technology classes to teach them basic computer skills, such as how to use Microsoft Word and create a resume with help from the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh Community Engagement staff. In addition to the computer lab, we've outfitted East Liberty Gardens with low-cost home Internet service that will allow the residents to connect to the Internet privately. The low-cost, no contract Internet plans are easy for the residents to manage and, about a month into the project, around 10% of the households have signed up for Green Light Wireless' residential Internet service. This community has received a lot of good news lately. In June, it was revealed that Larimer and the surrounding area, including East Liberty Gardens, would be the recipient of a $30 million grant from the Federal Housing Authority to redevelop the community from the ground up as one of four Choice Neighborhoods in the country. We hope to continue our partnership with these communities throughout the transition phase and are looking for ways to continue to get involved. Feel free to call, email, or drop a check in the mailbox at the main house with your full name to reserve your spot (s). This is the final Paint Date for the seaosn and then the studio will be closing soon after for the season. So come out before it gets cold! I am listing a HON 4 drawer lateral filing cabinet that resembles a dresser vs. a filing cabinet for $500. These retail for over $1000 new and hers is in excellent condition. She recently moved and can't find room for it in her new smaller office. It is located at her home in Sharpsburg and is available for buyer to pick up immediately.
