Hi Neighbors, I'm looking for someone (maybe a student) to do some occasional weeknight babysitting in my Morningside home, for my 7 year old son. Most likely I will need some help a couple of times a month, maybe once a week, from around 6:45 to 11:15pm. [PennDOT left-cmyk] Traffic Advisory Sept. 10, 2014 Route 8 Butler Street Lane Restriction this Weekend in Pittsburgh Pittsburgh, PA - PennDOT District 11 is announcing an eastbound lane closure on Butler Street (Route 8) at One Wild Place in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will begin Friday night, Sept. 12, weather permitting. Beginning at 9 p.m. on Friday night, an eastbound (outbound) lane on Butler Street will be continuously closed until 6 a.m. Monday morning, Sept. 15 in the area of One Wild Place. Crews will conduct water line excavation and installation. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane in each direction. The work is part of the Route 8 Heths Run Bridge replacement project. The existing bridge built in 1913-14 will be replaced with a new structure. A temporary roadway through the Pittsburgh Zoo parking lot will be implemented for cars and light trucks. Additionally, the project includes reconstruction of 870 feet of Butler Street, improvements on One Wild Place, drainage, and sidewalk and signal upgrades. To help keep motorists informed as work on the Heths Run Bridge continues PennDOT is creating an email distribution list for Route 8 traffic advisories and construction updates. Enroll by sending email addresses to stcowan(a)pa.gov<mailto:stcowan@pa.gov> and writing "Subscribe - Route 8" in the subject line. Motorists are advised to use caution and expect possible delays.
