Neighbors,I am one of a local group of veteran supporters establishing a new organization, Operation Valor Arts, that assists veterans with education and training while they design and construct public art to honor those who have served.We recently met with nine veterans in a focus group and I have a 50 minute audio tape ( on a flash drive) that needs to be transcribed. Can anyone in HP donate their time to help us with this or direct us to someone willing to help our veteran community?Thanks, Allyson Holtz

This class is the one that seems to reset my system for a better Monday and a better week. There are some students who have been coming to it for years, but always some new faces, too. Give it a try as a drop-in and see what you think... or sign up for the series and realize that it makes a big difference in how you feel and in your outlook. A nice variety of ages and skill levels... it doesn't matter... a very non-judgmental atmosphere. Yoga with Adrienne Sunday nights at the Nuin Center, Bryant Street in Highland Park 6-7:30 p.m. 14 Sundays, September 8th through December 15th (no class on October 20th) Cost is $170 for the 14 week session (due Monday, September 2nd), or $15 to drop in. This mixed levels yoga class is perfect for beginner students as well as skilled practitioners. Classes include: variations on the sun salutation, standing and seated postures, beginning inversions and arm balances, deep relaxation and seated meditation. Having taught for 16 years, Adrienne can provide a variation or modification for students at any level, while giving plenty of individual attention and guidance.
