Sacred Heart Parish Loretta's Christmas Cookie and Candy Walk When: Sunday, December 15, 2013 Time: 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Where: Sacred Heart School Cafeteria 325 Emerson Street Shadyside Over thirty different types of cookies, candies, and Christmas treats will be displayed for sale. Buyers will be given a box or boxes to fill with as many different kinds of cookies they would like. The cookies will then be weighed and will sell for $8.00 a pound. Some cookies and candies will be sold for individual prices. Our Chinese Auction will be featuring many exciting items and baskets including beautiful Christmas Centerpieces, gift card baskets, and a Christmas basket, just to name a few.

Hello, Can you please send me any recommendations you have for elder care? Our family is looking for someone who can come to the house to help my mother who is 80 years old and soon will be coming home from a skilled nursing facility from having suffered from a broken shoulder. Someone who could, perhaps spend the nights in a spare 2nd bedroom to assist my mother throughout the night when she wakes and would need to use the necessary facilities. Looking for flexible hours (daylight) as well. This person would need to drive or be able to commute to Mt. Royal Blvd., in Shaler. My mother lives in a 55+ independent living community at the present time in an elevator and secure building. Her apartment is on one living level. Thank you. Attention: Neighbors I have a client who is in the process of moving and has approximately 3 cords of wood she would like to sell. I have attached pictures of just the wood she has stored in her garage. She has an additional two piles in hers side yard which consist of probably at least another 2 cords of wood. The log pile are approximately 6' high and 8' long. I was informed that a cord of wood cost approximately $150 a cord. She is selling them for $75 a cord if they can be picked up. Delivery can be arranged at an addition cost but I am sure she is open to discussion on the price.
