One of our beloved cats has been missing for the last 3 days. She is a black short hair cat, no collar, no microchip, 13 yo, beautiful feline, very shy with strangers. A black cat has been sleeping in our back yard for the last few days. We've been feeding it and it is extremely friendly and affectionate so we think it is someone's pet but it isn't wearing a collar. It is a healthy weight and has big yellow eyes. [Highland Park] family day trip idea- toy store, hiking

On a day of hiking at Moraine State Park (recommended) , we happened on a wonderful family-owned toy store near Butler. The must-see building is shaped like a stealth aircraft (!) and the proprietors were fun and helpful. We had a good time even without children along. [Highland Park] Composter for sale

Neighbors, I have a used Smith & Hawken BIOSTACK composter, $20.00 OBO. It is made of sturdy snap together pieces, which stack up. It has a nice, bi-fold top. The bottom is empty to make contact with the ground underneath. I had many successful loads of compost from this thing. A few of the pieces have a little water inside but this will not affect your compost and should drain eventually. You haul, it's not heavy. Email if interested.
