Before purchasing a new one I wanted to see if anyone had a used but functional plant lamp. I have a plant that needs it over winter. Also has anyone had good luck with this method? The plant is a large hydrangea that is in a huge planter. thanks! kate kate cole

Hello everyone, This tent was bought for us in error. It's way too small for our guys. So, our loss is, we hope, someone else's gain! For sale: A red, Kidco Infant Travel Tent. This tent is lightweight and folds up into a bag that can be either packed in a suitcase or slung over your shoulder for easy travel. We have set this tent up once. Come and enjoy the bounce house, apple bobbing, face painting, food and more while meeting your neighbors and re-connecting in the community. Get this on your calendar now for Sat Oct 13th from 11-6. The block party will be located at the 6500 Block of Northumberland street in Squirrel Hill. Learn more about our holiday toy drive kicking off Nov 8th and sign up if you will be in need of toys this holiday season or want to help with donation of toys, wrapping materials or your time to help in wrapping. Neighbors: Recently a woman picked up some books from me to donate to the Pittsburgh Manchester PreK-8 school library. I have forgotten her name and could not locate her email. I have more books to donate: many hardcover picture books for young kids. If that school cannot use them, but anyone knows of a place that really needs books for young kids, please let me know so we can make arrangements for you to pick up the books this week. Jana

On behalf of a neighbor: Child care needed for house-bound parent coping with a chronic illness. Two lovely girls aged 10 months and 7 years. Sitter needed to pick up baby at daycare in Oakland and help with after school care of both girls. Also, help needed on weekends. Current clearances and valid driver's license required. Two references needed as well. This is a temporary position until mother is feeling better. Husband is ER resident with irregular hours. [Highland Park] to donate-entertainment unit and TV

I have seen in the past various charities looking for furniture to help folks get a a new start. We have an oak laminate entertainment unit and a 25" tv (old school) but it works just fine we'd like to donate it but can't figure out who might want it and could pick it up.
