Come and enjoy the bounce house, apple bobbing, face painting, food and more while meeting your neighbors and re-connecting in the community.  Get this on your calendar now for Sat Oct 13th from 11-6.  The block party will be located at the 6500 Block of Northumberland street in Squirrel Hill.  Learn more about our holiday toy drive kicking off Nov 8th and sign up if you will be in need of toys this holiday season or want to help with donation of toys, wrapping materials or your time to help in wrapping.  Hope to see you there.   If you havent signed up for WYB yet   Please go to our website and become a member. It is very simple - You can go to the site for WYB   http://www.whosyourbrother.com/ see the "sign up to get or give help" section. Click there and sign up. There will be a box that says referral code next to the captcha code box. enter Z9Z30Y7KW in that box - that will let me know that you signed up. Then it will send you and email to confirm that signup.   When you get your email it will ask you to complete your profile. One part is to post a need or a gift. Don't think you have a gift? A couch or clothes or household goods can be a gift to someone. We all have something to give and maybe something we need. You can do both if you like. Or you can skip that untill you find something you need or want to give but at least that gets you in touch with what is going on in the WYB community. Save your profile and then you can access the people in need of help (under help someone today) to see if you may have a way to help someone. Members can communicate with those people through our email system. You can sit there and think about doing something good or you can just get out and do it.  Everything starts with one small step forward, make yours today!
