[Highland Park] Hawk warning

Hi. Today a predatory bird that I believe to be a hawk killed one of my standard sized chickens right in my yard. The chicken was probably twice the size of the hawk. When I called the vet about disposing the body they told me that these birds have been known to take out small dogs. Please keep an eye on your animals. I live on Callowhill St. Meg

[Highland Park] Seeking inexpensive one-month summer sublet

I'm posting this for a woman who's coming to Pittsburgh for one month this summer beginning in late June. She can only pay $300 including utilities and needs a furnished room, bathroom, and kitchen (on-site laundry is also a big plus). A sublet in Highland Park is strongly preferred since she'll be without a car and will be here to visit her granddaughter. Light housekeeping duties (as well as transformational breathwork or babysitting) could be arranged to help defray the cost of rent if interested. [Highland Park] Horrible AT&T Service in the neighborhood

I know a lot of people have horrible cell service in Highland Park and Morningside lately. After spending multiple hours on the phone with customer service, I've learned AT&T isn't very good at detecting these problems without people calling 611 to report dropped calls and/or poor service. If you are dropping calls and unable to make calls, please call and report it to them. They may try to make you update your software or replace your sim card, but if you refuse to do it and tell them that your phone is fine 1 mile away, they will probably get the point. Also - If you express your frustrations with a manager, they'll most likely give you $100 off of your next bill...which really doesn't make up for not being able to use your phone that you pay too much for anyways.
