Heyo I'm looking for books to build a class library for some at-risk twelfth graders. If you would like to unload some books that you haven't cracked in years please let me know. They have a variety of needs and interests. Tips: anything related to resume building, career choices (ranges from health care to fashion and cosmetology), African American lit, sports, or graphic novels-really anything. Dear Neighbors, Some of you have asked that I share the results I got for my request for handyperson recommendations. I¹m pasting them in below. And many thanks to all of you who responded! Steve Juliana is a all around handyman with experience in many home repair fields. His number is 412-417-7704. Hello, My name is Tom and I live in Highland Park. My girlfriend Jenifer forwarded your call out for help from the neighborhood blog. I am a commercial carpenter in the local union hall, 230. I have many other talents that I have performed professionally. If you have some time to let me take a look at the job, I can tell you if it is within the scope of my expertise. She can do small jobs, including electrical. She also has a helper for larger jobs and contacts for plumbing and electrical, if needed. Our basement included, drywall, insulation, painting as well as electrical and some gas line work. All was done well. try my contractor. Tom 412-805-5602 Lic and Ins. I highly recommend Chris Jackson's Contracting - 412-512-5883. He can do major work, but specializes in 'Honey Do Lists,' e.g. minor repairs. I have hired him to paint woodwork, strip wallpaper, repair locks, set up a back yard shed, install a ceiling fan, etc. He's super - and his workers are friendly, efficient, clean and polite. His charges are reasonable - and he gives a discount to Angie's List members. I also recommend Angie's List. I found Chris after: We hired a terrible contractor for a major renovation. Major theft and poor work. Contacted an attorney who told us not to sue since the contractor had no assets. He referred another contractor who repaired most of the damage and did a good job, but then had to retire because of health problems. I then joined Angie's List and found Chris - and every other contractor (roofing, heating, plumbing, etc.) that I have used since then. I seriously recommend Chris Jackson and Angie's List. [Highland Park] For sale: IKEA two door cabinet

Hi, We have a 2-door cabinet from IKEA, it was included when we purchased other items from our neighbours, but I really do not like it. The cabinet is in very decent shape (it has a little drill hole in one door, though, don't know why!), 31" tall. Asking for $20 OBO. Thanks for reading! Coty.-
