[Highland Park] Need moped help

Hello Highland Park neighbors! Rather impulsively, on my way moving out to Pittsburgh, I bought a 1970-something Garelli moped (photograph attached) from a friend of mine. The friend had moved to L.A. and the moped stayed behind because she had no way of moving it, therefore I took it without the knowledge of how to operate it, and without the owner to help me out. Two months previous to me buying it off of her she took it into the shop and it was up and running and in good working condition. But I can't seem to get it going. I really know nothing about kick starting anything, nor anything about 1970s mopeds. I drove a scooter around while living in Indonesia, but this Garelli appears to operate much differently. So, can anyone help me? I mainly need help on getting it started, so if someone could come over and help me out with that I would be very grateful. Also if there's anyone out there with a ton of moped knowledge, I wouldn't mind having that knowledge shared either! We have a standard Rhode Gear bike rack that mounts to the back of a car but we need one that attaches to a spare tire. The one we have was used for over ten years but is still highly functional; it's just of no use to us. We're hoping for a trade but will sell it for $25 or best offer. Thank you, Heather

Good afternoon Mountain Bikers or anyone interested in trying, Park bruges in conjunction with Trek of Pittsburgh bicycle shops and Full Pint Brewing will be having our Harvest Mountain Bike Group ride this Sunday at 10 am. The ride will leave from Park Bruges at 10am. Trek of Pittsburgh will have some Rad demo bikes available. Show up early if you are interested in a demo bike-930ish. We will ride to Frick Park, hit the trails, and then head back to Park Bruges. Free beer and food after outside of Park bruges for all riders. Jesse
