It has been a lot of fun so far and we (along with our customers) have learned a lot about the different oils.  We regularly have 5 different oils on tap at the market.  We fill reusable bottles that we sell, and people also bring their own bottles.  We now have a loyal following that come in regularly to fill their empty bottles.  We provide free samples so people can taste the oils before they buy- and people seem to really like that. Well this is the time of year when the olives are harvested and milled into oil. "Olio Nuovo" is made when the oil is first pressed, before it is filtered. It is pungent and full of sediment, very rich in color.  It is as much a food product as it is an oil.  Over the past few months I have been bugging my farmer friends in California to send me some.  I am glad to report that Art Kishiyama has agreed.  Art is a great farmer and a master oil producer located in Paso Robles, California.  The trick to this oil is that it must be milled, blended and shipped immediately.  The oil must also be consumed rapidly- first to capture the fresh taste, and second because the suspended vegetable matter tends to promote spoilage.  This oil was milled 2 weeks ago. Evenflo Chase DLX combination booster forward facing car seat, 20-100 lbs. I bought this as a back up seat about 3 months ago and have NEVER used it... Still in packaging from store, includes "2 fabric covered armrests and 1 cupholder/snack tray". Paid around $68 at Walmart (they will not take it back without a receipt, which I did not keep), will sell for $40. Iwatani Cooking Torch with butane canister (new $47) and super fine creme brulee sugar (unopened) from Williams Sonoma. These have NEVER been used, $20 Audiovox homebase DPF710K digital message center and digital picture frame (check it out on amazon.com if interested). The minutes from that meeting are attached. For those who have not been in a while, just a reminder that PCRG’s Safe Neighborhoods Network meets on the 2nd Saturday of every other month at 9:00 am at our offices on Centre Ave. The next meeting will be on Saturday, March 12th. At each meeting, we have a relevant guest speaker and spend a good amount of time on public safety information and resource sharing across communities. The most productive meetings are the ones at which we have a good cross-section of neighborhoods represented. I think it's great that you want to remove the snow from your driveway and sidewalks in a timely fashion. However, is it really necessary to shovel snow at 5:30-6:00 in the morning? The sound of your snow blower and metal shovel scraping your driveway at this early hour is inconsiderate. Please, consider waiting until a decent hour. Thank you!
