Hello, AmeriCorps members(volunteers/tutors/mentors) at Peabody High School will be serving with CAST(College After School Team) to run a Summer Health Camp. We are in need of a facility to hold the summer camp, because Peabody is undergoing renovations, and will be closed for the summer. a.. There will be about fifteen to twenty freshman students. b.. The camp will be approximately 5 to 6 weeks long c.. It will run from 9am to 5pm. Students will be taught lessons about health related topics of their choice through creative and interactive activities. These students will then prepare mini-lessons that they can teach to elemntary students in the community. If anyone has a space which we can use, or has suggestions please let me know. Our preference is to stay close to East Liberty or Highland Park, beacuse the majority of the students live close to these neighborhoods Thanks, Vijay J. Some time Saturday morning my elderly cat escaped from my home on North Saint Clair between Stanton and Hayes. His name is Grendel, and he is a black and brown longhair tabby. He is very small and thin, and at 17 years old he has arthritis. He is afraid of strangers so you may not be able to capture him, but if you see him, please email or call 412-760-3975. [Highland Park] For sale: vintage bricks 25 cents each

I have about 1100 red-toned bricks that came from the four chimneys of a friend's Shadyside house, built in 1908. I got these with the intention of building a patio, but now my plans have changed and I'm moving out of town. Bricks can be purchased as a lot or bought in small batches. I took most of the mortar off already but buyer might want to powerwash them. Cash only; purchaser must arrange to move bricks. (I moved them here in my car but it was a lot of trips!).
