Come buy tomato, pepper, tomatillo, and other seedlings for your garden, as well as a selection of fresh greens and herbs grown right here in Garfield, East Liberty and Highland Park. Here¹s what you¹ll be supporting... Garfield Farms is what we're calling a new initiative between The Open Door, Valley View Presbyterian Church, and Open Hand Ministries to develop a small urban farm in the Garfield neighborhood and promote home gardening for Garfield residents. With a global food crisis looming, the poor and disenfranchised will have even less access to healthy organicly grown produce.
