friday, june 10th (around 10:30am - 11am) while my husband was standing at the bus stop on the corner of negley and wellesley, 2 african-american youths accosted him and tried to take his wallet. my husband resisted, the youth instead grabbed his black messenger bag (with a yellow emblem on it). my husband chased them and then a passing car helped to chase the youth (thanks for your help!). the youth got away by running through yards and in an ally -- in the area of portland between hampton and bryant streets. a police report was made. if you should find his black bag, please call 412 225 4469. thank you nadine __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? I am moving and I do not have space in my new house for an EasyFlex computerdesk with two EasyFlex Bookcases (see picture) that I bought in September 2005 at Staples It is a great (cherry) cornerdesk. The assembly is very easy without any screws and no need for any tools. The desk ( two parts) and the two book cases were together $ 650. I am selling it now for $450 !! It is a steal. I also want to sell a black, steel (tube) frame bunkbed with to matresses that I bought 8 years ago at IKEA. You can get the bed and the two matresses for $100. [Highland Park] Tree Service Recommendation - Great Company!

I just had BJ Tree Service of Penn Hills remove two blue spruce that were too close to the house, as well as some shrubs and hedges that had gone woody and wild before I bought the place; they removed all the stumps (except for the privet hedge I'm letting grow back, which they pruned to the ground). The entire crew was pleasant, friendly, helpful, and they cleaned up well, even taking away some extra branches that had blown into the yard over the last few weeks. I highly recommend them. Eastminster Church is sponsoring 4 great weeks of summer camps. Eastminster Bible Camp - June 26-30 - FREE Eastminster Sports Camp - July 3-7 (not including July 4th) $15.00 Eastminster Music & Drama Camp - July 10-14-$15.00 Eastminster Visual Arts Camp - July 17-21 -$15.00 Camps run from 8:30am-12:30pm each and include breakfast and a mid-morning snack. We also have a Learning & Lunch Program for rising 2nd & 3rd graders. This program will run all four weeks from 12:30pm-2:00pm and will include lunch. Reading and math skills will be the focus. Some friends of mine that live in Highland Park have lost their cat and they're heartbroken. He's a male sealpoint Siamese and his name is Romeo. The cat has been missing from their home in Sheridan Court since Wednesday evening. They have searched the area and contacted various animal associations, but I thought I'd put a message here in case anybody sees him. He's a very sweet, friendly cat. Hello Everyone, I want to recommend a professional gardener who shows up when he says he will and does great work for very reasonable rates. He's a trained landscape specialist and has been doing pruning, planting, weeding, fertilizing, deadheading, mulching, etc. at our house. Hi all you Monty Python Fans Spamalot is coming to Pittsburgh this fall! If you are interested in seeing it, come with us on Friday, September 22. Let me know TODAY or at the latest FRIDAY, if you are interested. The tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, June 12 at 7 AM. But, the shows are fully subscribed and the last tickets will go quickly that morning. So, I decided that, if I go, it will have to be in a group. I don't want to cue up at 7 AM on a Monday. Group sales are now holding some tickets for me. We'll need to get the minimum number for a group (20). The seats are in the First Tier ( behind the Dress Circle) at the Benedum at $70 per seat.
