Has anyone lost a yellow cat? A very fluffy, friendly long-haired yellow cat was hanging out in our driveway and crying crying crying. We gave him (I think it was a male) some food and he gobbled it up like he hadn't eaten in days. He seems to belong to someone, but he had no collar. I took his picture. Email me for a copy of it. He'll probably be back, so I want him to be reunited with his owners. We can't take him in right now because we don't want to upset our other cat who is 19. We're on Jackson near Heberton.

I have summarized the last two threads' worth of appliance repair recommendations with phone numbers and addresses from the messages themselves or from Yahoo! Yellow Pages. There was also a recommendation for "A-1," but I omitted it because there are many businesses with that name and the recommender didn't specify a phone number or address. Ebase version 2.12 is available as a free download from www.ebase.org. This basic one-day course will get you up to speed using Ebase 2 and Chickadeebase. We will cover how to get around, where to find things, data, basic data entry, basic reporting and move on to choosing what data to enter, how to use Ebase Items and codes to store virtually any kind of information and then how to find it again. We will explore how Ebase can be used to run a sample combined activist issue and fundraising campaign. Chickadeebase follows that with an updated FileMaker 8 version using similar look and feel and data structure as Ebase 2. This class is taught by Clif Graves of Clif Graves Consulting. Clif has been lead developer for Ebase version 1.03 and version 2 and is developer of Chickadeebase. Clif has presented at numerous national conferences, taught at all levels from adult education to college level. He is a trained Total Quality Trainer and brings that perspective to his trainings. There is limited time to act on this. Thanks Bob Help us bring a new school to Friendship! Friendship School is currently scheduled to close. One option is to have a new or relocated public school on this site. As you may have read or heard, there is a possibility that the Pittsburgh Public Schools would consider opening or relocating a Montessori school (pre-kindergarten through 8th grade) at the Friendship site if supported by Friendship (and Pittsburgh) residents with school-age children. The Friendship Preservation Group and Friendship Development Associates are collecting data to help make the case to the Pittsburgh Public Schools for a new/relocated school at the Friendship site. We need to send a proposal to the City School Superintendent Mark Roosevelt on January 31, 2005. We want this proposal to be part of the modified district reorganization plan to be released on Feb 9th. There are some indicators that this can happen - IF WE CAN SHOW THAT FRIENDSHIP WANTS A PUBLIC MONTESSORI SHOOL! On Saturday evening, January 28, the St. Andrew's Adult Education/Program Committee is hosting a showing of "The Gospel according to St. Matthew"--a little-seen 1964 masterpiece by the controversial Italian director Pier Paolo Pasolini . .. a film that veteran British critic Alexander Walker was not alone in proclaiming "grips the historical and psychological imagination like no other religious film I have ever seen." The film begins at 7 p.m., and is shown without charge. We are invited to bring a food or beverage item to share for a "pot luck" dessert "movie fare" table. Hi all! My wife is an experienced caretaker for the elderly. We just had a baby boy and would like to find a local situation that would allow her to maximize her time with the baby. She is comfortable with doing the shopping, advance meal preparation, light to medium cleaning, bathing, and transporting to/from doctor's appointments. Hi neighbors, Does anyone in Highland Park own flood insurance? I had thought that if the Highland Park ever flooded, it would be time to build an ark...but then I read the insert in my new policy with all kinds of stern warnings about how flooding isn't covered and additional insurance should be considered.
