Dear Neighbors, Last night sometime, our indoor cat got out. Would you please keep an eye out for her? Zuli is very petite (6 lbs.), calico, and has no collar. She is friendly but a little skittish, and has no front claws. We live on Wellesley Road (# 951), and suspect she may be roaming around there, or over to Jackson or Heberton. Thank you. Did anyone else see/hear the large group of people moving through the neighborhood at about 1 am? I woke up to this very large and loud group walking down my street at about 1:15am. Just then 2 police cars came up with lights on and chased them away. Not sure what that was all about. [Highland Park] HDTV antenna help wanted

Good morning all, I live in a cottage house on Negley & Wellesley and have Dish Network satellite TV service. To get local channels in HD I need an off-air antenna. I tried one of those that clip onto the dish itself but I can't get good reception on most channels -- and I get no reception on ABC, where the Steelers have three Monday night games this year. According to Antennaweb (http://www.antennaweb.org) I need a Medium Directional Antenna. Most web searches I've done point to the Terk TV36 antenna which I'd most likely need to mount on the roof. So two questions: 1. Does anyone have any recommendations about which antennas work well in such a foliage-rich neighborhood, especially on a smaller house? 2. Would anyone be able to spare an afternoon to help install an antenna on my roof? I can compensate you for your time of course. Thanks much, -- Jason Weill jason(a)weill.org

He came to our house a few weeks ago-said he was a neighbor and gave me an elaborate story about where he worked (far away) and that he just got off work. It was late at night- maybe after midnight. We were up and our porch light was on. I think he said his last name was Jenkins. I told him we didn't have any cash. I live on Jackson near Heberton.

I am sending this on behalf of Jan Stayianos, Crimewatch, HPCC I was shocked to see so many responses about our resident scam artist. I can only imagine how many doors he has knocked on that we don't know about and how many people have given him money. At a meeting on Tuesday (8/2) night at Fulton, I met two families who had given him money just days before. Until yesterday I had only gotten a call from a woman in Friendship. Then I got a call from a mother in Highland Park who found "Tony" in her yard talking to her children!! It is imperative NOT to give him money and to call 911 IMMEDIATELY if he approaches you. Then I would really appreciate your calls so that I can try to get an idea of his habits. 412-363-8208. Also, if anyone can give me a description of his bike or where he keeps it, that would be great. For instance, does he chain it to a stop sign, hide it in the bushes, etc. Tell everyone you know who might not have access to email (like me). I am working with zone 5 to try to find out about him. Even though you all seem to think his name is "Tony," it may not be. We need you help. 412-363-8208
