Wanted to share these additional tips I got after posting about the bugs: __ Get a tall glass and put a little vinegar and dish soap in it Splash some water to make lots of bubbles The vinegar attracts them and they die in the bubbles Cheers, Jim Lillicotch Lillicotch.com/Contact Website Design, Promotion Search Engine Optimization (SEO) "Simple can be Good" ____ Dear Jessica, It is likely that those are sewer flies.  To remedy this situation, put a cup or more of bleach into each of your drains as well as in your floor drain in your basement in the evening before retiring to sleep.  If they persist, repeat the process.  I hope this is helpful. Best Regards, Dan Landis “I Make House Calls!” ------------ My sister taught me this one and it works!  Put some cut up or spoiled fruit in a bowl, seal it with saran wrap and poke a few holes in it with a skewer.  The bugs get in and can’t get out!  Try it over night.
