Dear neighbors: i'm a writer and poet living on Heberton. I thought some of you might like to read my essay about Larimer (just published at *Places, *a California journal about cities and architecture). It's a meditation on the evolution of neighborhoods in the face of white flight. It's about a state of grace at the last Italian store down the hill. It's a love letter. If you haven't been to Grasso Sausage, you may be inspired to after reading. One of my vegetarian friends said even he is now tempted. https://placesjournal.org/article/larimer-and-orphan/ Joy
