Dear neighbors: i'm a writer and poet living on Heberton. I thought some of you might like to read my essay about Larimer (just published at Places, a California journal about cities and architecture). It's a meditation on the evolution of neighborhoods in the face of white flight. It's about a state of grace at the last Italian store down the hill. It's a love letter.
