Pittsburgh Society of Artists New Member Screening The Fall new member screening will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2015. Drop off is from 12:30-1:00pm at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts located at 6300 Fifth Ave in Simmons Hall. Pick-up is from 3:00-4:00pm. Applicants must submit 3 gallery-ready art pieces that are exclusively created by the applicant and made within the last two years. Consider becoming a member of the Pittsburgh Society of Artists as the organization celebrates its 50th anniversary. The guild offers artists in all media the opportunity to join with fellow artists in the lifelong pursuit of artistic expression. Twice yearly new member screenings are held at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in Shadyside. Since 1965, PSA has been dedicated to providing artist members with exhibition opportunities. The guild also encourages creative thinking through membership meetings, workshops, member critiques, field trips to museums, artist studios and much, much more. PSA¹s membership of more than 380 artists represents all media.
