In search of "garbage" items!

I always like to fill the bottoms of my plant pots with drainage materials that would otherwise see a landfill. Here are the types of things I'm interested in: Broken terra cotta and ceramicGlass beadsPacking peanuts (NOT biodegradable ones)Your ideas! NO gravel, please.
