Helen, The story of your middle name / initial mixup made me wonder how exact the new law demands that ID conform to your registered name. For those wondering the same thing, there does seem to be a degree of latitude and discretion allowed. Lets hope all of the poll workers have been versed on this. See attached for details. Neighbors - I know that that a decision is about to be made concerning PA's voter id law - but a colleague at work shared this link and I wanted to share it with you all.
I nearly had a coronary the first time I inputted my information to make sure I was registered; following the form's instructions, I put in my full middle name. No dice - it said I was not listed in the registry. (Ack!) When I tried again and just used my middle initial, it verified my registration.

In short, it's a good thing to double check - but beware the idiosyncratic fillable form.
