Verizon's signal is generally pretty weak for me (on Elgin St) ... not unusable, but definitely only one or two bars. I've never cared too much since I don't use my cell phone at home --- but why don't they have a tower on one of the nearby hilltops? Seems like if we don't have good signal here, there've got to be large parts of the East End that don't either. Just for reference, my wife has Sprint and her signal is spotty around here too. I suppose being a cell phone provider in geography as hilly as Western PA is its own special form of hell :-( regards, tom lane
