1. Victorian style headboard only . Queen size. It is about 6 feet high with decorative wood work, it is a dark wood color, I do not know what kind of wood it is. It has a small crack on the left side, once the bed is attached to a frame this crack is barely visible. It is also missing two decorative pieces, (anyone with a creative flair could remedy the missing pieces) I am asking $20.00. 2. Trek 21 speed bike, comes with and extra set of clipless pedals. I just put new tires and tubes on it this spring. I am asking $20.00. 3. The East Side Ballet Academy (formerly at the Nuin Center) is resuming classes with Andrew Blight. Our new home is the boardroom of the Family Resource Center on the corner of Centre and S. Highland Avenues. Classes are as follows: Beginning October 3rd and continuing until December 21st. There will be no classes scheduled on October 17th, 31st, and November 23rd. [Highland Park] Free Air Conditioner

We just set out an old air conditioner for Bulk Pick-Up. It was passed on to us 12 years ago and has worked for us the few times we've used it - the last time probably being 5 years ago or so. It's bigger than the ones you buy today, rattles a little more than a new one, and the knob is missing (we used pliers). 1011 Heberton St (Between Wellesley and Hampton Sts.)

[Highland Park] Services for Ollie Reiley

Dear Friends, Our good friend, great Highland Park neighbor, and long-time HPCC member and Newsletter editor Ollie Reiley died yesterday, after a long illness. We all, I know, from our various backgrounds and traditions of life and faith, remember him with many prayers and blessings, and with much affection--as we at the same time would encircle Betty and their children and wider family with love and care. Services will be Monday morning, October 2, at 10 a.m., at the Shadyside Presbyterian Church, 5121 Westminster Place, Pittsburgh. I've been invited to be a part of the pastoral leadership of the service, and have been asked to say a few words in particular about Ollie's life and work and many friendships in the neighborhood. If you have any thoughts, reflections, memories, stories, etc., that you'd be willing to share with me by e-mail this weekend, that would be very nice. I'll try to include what I can in my remarks--and all will be passed along to the family, I know with their appreciation. Hi, Following up on the recent discussion of tree removal services: I got bids from 6 services and decided to go with the lowest bidder: Three Rivers Tree Service. They were great! Did a good job, worked efficiently, cleaned up after themselves, and were courteous. I would recommend them very highly. Claudette
